Delano Youth Orchestras
Offered during the summer, this is a great way to keep your playing up and perform music with friends.
This year there will be 4 different orchestras; Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced String, and Advanced Full. Enrollment is limited to 40 students per group.
The fee for the summer is $200 and is due before or at the first rehearsal. Limited scholarships ($75) are available and will be issued upon showing need. A 20% discount is applied to each additional student registering from one family. Communication with parents or guardians is required to approve scholarships.

About the Groups
Rehearsals begin Monday, June 2nd at The District Church (304 S. Seneca, Wichita)
(No rehearsal on July 7th)
Beginning String Orchestra (BSO)— Mondays 6:00-7:30pm
String orchestra: players with 1+ years of experience (Grade 1 Literature)
Dress rehearsal: Saturday, July 26th 2-2:30pm
Concert: Sunday, July 27th 2:00pm
Intermediate String Orchestra (ISO)— Mondays 6:00-7:30pm
String orchestra; players with 2+ years experience (Grade 2-3 Literature)
Dress rehearsal: Saturday, July 26th 4-5:30pm
Concert: Sunday, July 27th 4:00pm
Advanced String Orchestra (ASO)— Mondays 8:00-9:30pm
String players with 5+ years of experience (Grade 4-6 Literature)
Dress rehearsal: Sunday, July 27th 6-7:30pm
Concert: Monday, July 28th 6:30pm
Advanced Full Orchestra (AFO)— Mondays 8:00-9:30pm
String and wind (no clarinets) players with Wichita Youth Symphony experience
Dress rehearsal: Sunday, July 27th 8-9:30pm
Concert: Monday, July 28th 8:00pm
