Delano Youth Orchestras
Offered during the summer, this is a great way to keep your playing up and perform music with friends.
This year there will be 4 different orchestras; Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced String, and Advanced Full.
The fee for the summer is $200 and is due before or at the first rehearsal. Limited scholarships ($75) are available and will be issued upon showing need. A 20% discount is applied to each additional student registering from one family. Communication with parents or guardians is required to approve scholarships.
Tickets will be sold to the performances: $10 for adults, $5 for students, children10 years old and under free.

Rehearsals start June 3rd at The District Church (304 S. Seneca, Wichita)
(No rehearsal on July 8th)
Beginning String Orchestra (BSO)— Mondays 6:00-7:30pm
String orchestra: players with 1+ years of experience (Grade 1 Literature)
Dress rehearsal: Saturday, July 27 @2:00pm
Concert: Sunday, July 28 @2:00pm
Intermediate String Orchestra (ISO)— Mondays 6:00-7:30pm
String orchestra; players with 2+ years experience (Grade 2-3 Literature)
Dress rehearsal: Saturday, July 27 @4:00pm
Concert: Sunday, July 28 @4:00pm
Advanced String Orchestra (ASO)— Mondays 8:00-9:30pm
String players with 5+ years of experience (Grade 4-6 Literature)
Dress rehearsal: Sunday, July 28 @6:00pm
Concert: Monday, July 29 @6:00pm
Advanced Full Orchestra (AFO)— Mondays 8:00-9:30pm
String players with Wichita Youth Symphony experience (or the equivalent)
